Some trailers just come out of nowhere and hit you big time. This one of course catching our attention is no big surprise because this one is helmed by one of our finest thriller and dark cinema makers called Sriram Raghavan. This trailer carries his distinct story telling stamp.
The trailer holds you well with its trailer. It has brilliant moments and lines. The ones between Radhika Apte and Ayushman. The chemistry between Tabbu and Ayushman. There is a murder. We are totally in the trailer's grasp by the time it ends. Yet we do not know what exactly is the plot. Not because its one of those dumb high on glitz less on content trailers. The trailer holds us because we know the director is deliberately not telling us anything. We want to watch the movie just for this precise reason. We know there is a story of darkness and intrigue here.
Ayushman is brilliant in the trailer and that is only expected from him. The attraction point, literally of this trailer is Tabbu. She is one actor who refuses to lose her charge and charm after all these years and the trailer is watchable because of her too.
Sriram Raghavan has given us another content based trailer which points to a movie which is now in the must watch list of those who search for content based cinema in this era of screen count, remixed gutter songs and blind aggressive hype.
