This is one hell of a different trailer. Varun Dhawan is a good actor and there is no doubt about it. He is also trying to break his image away from the kind of cinema he has done till date is also evident from this effort. He did try an October a few months ago but there the script and the director totally failed him.
Here Varun the actor is totally a part of a script that is well written and well placed. Varun is a directionless guy who lives in his self created happiness till his wife wakes him up to a better meaningful life. The man sets out and creates a journey of redemption and probably success too. This is what the trailer tells you. The real story in any case might not be very different.
Anushka Sharma is good enough but the trailer focuses on Varun Dhawan and to be fair he totally snatches it away from every one in each frame.
Director Sharat Kataria is in epic touch and he seems to be continuing with his calling in small town feel good cinema. The trailer gives us the plot, remains completely watchable and drops situations which take place in every day small town families.
There are such lovely humour lines like roz doggy nahi kabhi gali ka sand kabhi bazaar ka bhand. The trailer makes you laugh and smile. It also tugs at heart in a way how good people go through pain and cruel situations.
Stories of positivity and hope when packaged well and told well can hold you and they also mean box office success. In all probability Varun Dhawan fans can look forward to a big surprise hit.
