I have a simple feeling after watching this super fun trailer. Anurag Kashyap is back in form. Sure some of his recent movies were praised to the clouds by a certain section of the media. The collections of these over rated movies were nowhere near the praise. Finally the director who gave us memorable stuff like DevD and Gangs Of Wasseypur was getting lost in movies which were less movies and more political commentary.
There is nothing new about the story of Manmarziyan as this trailer shows. It has shades of both Chitchor and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in it. Anurag Kashyap has given it his brazen touch and the result is a watchable trailer at least.
Vicky Kaushal is in this one too. He is the flavour of the season and clearly he seems to have given the wild irresponsible lover a great touch, you will find his wild avtar totally unbelievable post watching him the soft kamli in Sanju.
Taapsee is a good actress and has already developed her distinct style which is again evident in this trailer.
Abhishek bachchan proves yet again that he is one of our most competent under rated actor who never got his due.
The best part of this trailer however is the typical anurag kashyap style in your face comedy. Like the end moment of the trailer. The trailer like the movie name has a in your face attitude which makes you anticipate a good movie.
one question remains unanswered will the whole movie hold as good as the trailer ? we don't know that but the trailer does make you ready for the movie .For starters that is enough.
